This model features a hinge that allows for emptying and refilling the column when the essential oil from the plants or flowers runs out, giving us the possibility to load and unload the column 3 to 5 times per distillation.
The boiler capacity is 30 liters, while the approximate load in the column is 1000 grams of plants or flowers. This means that by loading the column 3 to 5 times per distillation, we can distill between 1000 and 5000 grams of plants or flowers.
The results of the distillation are impressive. Between 27 and 28 liters of hydrolate and between 35 and 40 ml of pure essential oil are obtained. These values demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of this still.
The still is made of 1.2 mm copper sheet, with a hammered finish. The handles and nuts are made of shiny brass, and the joints are welded, ensuring durability and resistance.
